Our bees live in the area of the farm that we call "The Timber" - where they can forage all kinds of pollen from 170 acres of prairie. They have their own little pond and lots of shade during hot times of day.
Our honey is unadulterated. It is harvested by Katie from our land, extracted, and poured into jars. Never heated or treated. This is truly local sweetener!
Similar to "cage free" or "free range," the term "raw" is unregulated in honey, so it is legal to put on any label no matter how processed or filtered it has been. Another reason why it's best to know your source.
