Turkey FAQ

1. Where do I store it? Our turkeys are FRESH, not frozen. Turkey should be kept in the refrigerator until time of cooking. Please do not freeze the turkey - the turkey will keep in the fridge (or a cooler with ice) for up to ten days after processing. We go the extra mile to provide you with a fresh, never frozen pasture-raised turkey and would be sad to see you freeze the turkey before Thanksgiving!

2. How big of turkey do I need? We have four size ranges. Most guidelines recommend 1.5 pounds per person if you'd like leftovers.

3. What day? Saturday, November 18th is the day for pick up and delivery. Sorry, we cannot accommodate other days. We are a small team and this is a fresh product so we must plan accordingly.

4. How to cook it? We believe poultry really shines with a brine! Wet or dry brining works. And be aware that pasture-raised, fresh turkeys cook much faster than factory-farmed birds. Please use your meat thermometer!
